Niko Allen

September 15, 1989 ~ March 28, 2015
N = Notable young man, a natural child full of energy, enjoying every moment in life. Sometimes naughty, pushing the limits; always! Without a doubt the nectar to his family and friends for the joy he gave to all. Night-Life Niko dressed to the nines he was in the pink attracting the ladies to a friendships that never wavered. I = Infectious smile that left an impression that no one will ever forget. His light is imprinted on our hearts forever. Anyone who really knew Niko, knew his intrigue with "Batman", he was Batman, saving or helping those in need. Under his playful boyish persona he was an intense man who saw life and people in depths of emotions, behavior, attitudes, values, and actions with wisdom beyond his years. Internally Niko understood life was short so living for today with gusto was the way he lived each and every day. K = Kindness was his way of life, always sharing and giving to others no matter if strangers or friend. He was the key to kinship, his heart was big and he embraced all those he ever met. Knowing the struggles of his very young life empowered him to love and appreciate every moment, life had to offer and this was apparent through his smile, his soulful laugh, his tender care of his family and friends. As the days pass and turn into years this is what will remain in our memory of Niko; to bring us a smile, maybe a tear but knowing that he was a blessing in each of our lives creates his legacy for years to come. A young vibrate soul that touched so many. O = Official number #1 fan of all sports clubs of St. Louis, without a doubt. Opulent in the happiness he radiated and shared with friend and foe. One thing we can all say is that he was far from ordinary he was truly outstanding. What Niko gave to us all outweighs his physical absence today: so remember him today, tomorrow, and to the end of your days. Niko Allen 25 years were filled with enormous joys, exciting experiences, even though he had difficult struggles as a small child. These childhood struggles, he endured did not define Niko, they refined him. As a small child he went to Rolling Hills Elementary where Griffin Sorenson befriended him; little did he know he would become a brother in the near future. Griffin's loving parents Craig and Peg welcomed Niko as their own, to there home and he became one of the Sorenson's children. Niko inherited four brothers, Lincoln, Elliott, Antoine, and Griffin along with one sister, Ashley. Growing up in this full home was an event in itself. Niko continued from Rolling Hills Elementary to Thunderidge Middle School, then on to Cherokee Trail High School, then taking the big step to leave his family and home to attend University of Nebraska- Kearney but after a year returning home to attend Metropolitan State University. Niko loved to be home surrounded by his family and friends. Niko was not only loved by Mom and Pops, and his Sorenson siblings but he was loved by his mother Theresa Reynolds and his late father Gerald Allen and was fortunate to have twelve more siblings, Territa Reynolds, Chasidy Allen, Vanity Allen, Chanell "Tiara"Potter, Juanitra Allen, Dominique Potter, Christina Potter, Patrick Potter, Mary Ann McCollum, Catrisha Wilson, Edward "Caddaryl" and Gerald Dickerson Jr.. Niko had even more family with all the grandparents Mavis Sorenson, Dale and Darla Jensen, Ladon Ross and Sally Hawkins. Niko had recently welcomed his new brother-in-law into the Sorenson family, Mike DiGiano; this was a special event seeing his big sister getting married and having all his family together to share in this joyful event in Arizona.
