It is with deep sorrow and profound respect that we announce the passing of Viriginia Winklepleck on December 16, 2023. Virginia departed peacefully from this life surrounded by the love of her devoted family, friends, and compassionate caregivers.
Born on February 7, 1927, in Royal Oaks, Michigan, Virginia was the cherished daughter of Mary Lamprey and August Rohlman. She spent her formative years alongside two brothers and one sister, forging bonds that would shape a lifetime of love and connection.
Throughout her journey, Virginia exuded warmth and kindness, leaving an enduring mark on the lives she touched. She was a pillar of strength for her family, offering unwavering support, boundless love, and the secret to long life through twinkies. Viriginia’s spirit was a beacon of resilience, and her enduring optimism uplifted those fortunate enough to know her.
Virginia’s life was a tapestry woven with threads of compassion, generosity, and grace. She faced challenges with courage and embraced joy with an open heart. Her unwavering commitment to family created a legacy that will continue to inspire and guide generations to come.
As we bid farewell to Virginia, we celebrate the enduring impact she had on those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will forever be engraved in our hearts, a testament to life well-lived and spirit that continues to shine brightly.
She is loved dearly by three children, twelve grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service to honor Virginia Winklepleck’s life will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023, 10am at Stork-Morley Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, 10am at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
May she rest in eternal peace, and her legacy of love and kindness continue to inspire us all.

So many memories I have of my beautiful grandmother I will forever hold them dearly I am truly blessed to have had her as my grandma but really she was more of a mother to me.
