Thomas Joseph "Tripp" Canavan, III

Tripp died May 5, 2011 of a Pulmonary Embolism. He was 42. He is survived by his mother and father, Thomas J. Canavan, Jr. and Kay E. Jeep., Jeanne Zielinski. He graduated from Cheyenne Mtn. High School and Western State. He was a test engineer at CSG Systems. Tripp was a volunteer with Random Acts of Kindness and fostered dogs for Colorado Dachshund Rescue. He was a huge Nebraska and Bronco fan and loved to camp, hike, play basketball and lift weights. He had a passion for all things Star Wars and Lord of the Rings. Services will be held at The Chapel of Our Savior, 84th Street (Broadmoor), Colo. Springs on Friday, May 13, 2011, at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow the service.
