Theodore Francis Sobon "Ted" Sensor, age 32, passed away suddenly in his home in Denver, Colorado, on January 28, 2018. Ted was born January 8, 1986, at his home in Scotch Plains, New Jersey to J. Timothy and Constance Sobon Sensor. As a 2004 graduate of Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School, Ted was well-known as a gregarious leader, an exceptional athlete, and active member of the Student Government and DECA, and recognized as a Bloustein Distinguished Scholar for his high-ranking academic achievement. Ted attended Wake Forest University in North Carolina, graduating in 2008 with a B.S. in Business and a minor in Entrepreneurship and Social Enterprise from the prestigious Wayne
Calloway School of Business and Accountancy. Following graduation, Ted worked for New York Life in Philadelphia before finally settling in Denver to start his own pet care business, "Walk of the Town," with his wife, Carrie DuPont.
In Colorado, Ted found joy in the natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains. He enjoyed skiing and exploring nature trails, and especially enjoyed hiking with his many pets, particularly his beloved cat, Squirrel. Ted loved cooking and preparing delicious meals for family and friends, which were enjoyed by all who shared them. Ted was a life-long music lover, passionate bass player, and talented drummer, who loved to jam with fellow musicians, especially his youngest brother, Brian. Ted was also a proud and dedicated member of the Free Masons, Atlas Pythagoras Lodge, Westfield, NJ.Ted is survived by his wife, Carrie DuPont, his parents, Tim and Connie, his three brothers, Chris (Allyson Zadlo), Jamie (Maria Lauer), and Brian, his nephews, Charlie and Joseph, and his extended family and many friends who loved him deeply. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Adolph and Marian Sobon, and his paternal grandparents, James E. and Rosemary Sensor. Ted's larger-than- life
presence, charisma, and heart will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Ted's life will be honored in a day-long celebration on Sunday, February 11, 2018, at the Italian- American Hall, 1976 Valley Ave, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076. A visitation from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM will be followed by a Free Mason memorial service and a brief blessing ceremony. A live musical tribute, led by Ted's brother, Brian, will follow from approximately 3:00PM to 9:00PM, featuring a set list of Ted's favorite music, with opportunities for friends and family to share memories or reflections about Ted during this time. The Sensors invite and welcome all to participate, dance, and sing with us. Food will be provided, and formal attire is optional.
