Tatyana Arushanova, 54, passed away in her home in Lakewood, CO on 06/11/2023.
Tatyana was born and raised in the Karachay-Cherkessk Republic, Russia where she was a homemaker and a daycare provider.
She relocated to Colorado with her husband and children in 2001. After learning a new language and settling into a new culture, Tatyana studied medicine and received an Associate of Applied Science in Medical Assisting. She spent her career pursuing her passion serving patients at a local family clinic.
For fun, she loved to read, garden, dance, and gather with family and friends. Tatyana was a hardworking and compassionate woman and she loved and cared unconditionally. Her memory will be honored by her seven children Yuliya, Ilya, Yevgeniya, Daniil, Iakov, Timofey, Darya, her husband Sergey Arushanov, her grandkids Alek Brickley and Antonio Zambrano, her mom Taicia Choogeeva, and her siblings Natalia Shvedova and Aleksey Safronkin.
Tatyana’s family would like to invite anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her kindness to come to pay their respects between 4 PM and 6 PM on Monday, June 19th, 2023 at Stork-Bullock Family Mortuary at 1895 Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO 80214.
Per her request, Tanya’s body will be returned to the ocean. Her spirit will continue to live within us. " We do not have to rely on memories to recapture the spirit of those we have loved and
