T. "Ann" Meyer
December 27, 1920 ~ June 13, 2014
T. “Ann” Meyer died June 13, 2014 in Littleton, Colorado. Ann was born December 27, 1920 in Kendrick, Colorado, the 9th of 13 children born to immigrant parents William and Katy Meyer. Her early years were spent on the family homestead in Kendrick, Colorado east of Colorado Springs. The family moved to a farm near Greeley in 1931 where she completed school. After going to work for the telephone company, she moved to Colorado Springs where she was employed as a telephone operator for over 40 years. Her career spanned a number of big changes in the telephone business including the transition from switchboards to computers. She was independent but did stay close to her family. Ann also worked as a fashion model, and logged many volunteer hours with the Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority where she served as vice president. She enjoyed travel, bowling and was active in the First Presbyterian Church. In 2007 she moved to Littleton to be closer to her family. She is survived by one sister, Esther Roth of Englewood, and one brother Ed Meyer of Greeley, and numerous nieces and nephews.
There is a bit of a hole in my life without Aunt Ann in it.
My family and I would like to express our deepest sympathy over the loss of Ann. What a full, beautiful and meaningful life she lived, May you find comfort in your loving memories and the warmth of family and friends. I love the beautiful promise at Revelation 21:4 when soon death and pain will be gone forever, and we can even see our loved ones again. It is our hope that these words bring you a measure of comfort during this difficult time. Once again, please accept our condolences as you deal with your loss.
