On December 14, 2016, Susan Carol Blakesley, 66, went on an adventure. After living a wonderful and creative life here, she knew it was time to carry on elsewhere. Susan is now able to frolic in nature freely, and eat delectably at any time. Her feisty words of wisdom are certainly being appreciated as much as they were loved by all of her family and friends.
Graveside services will be held on the first day of Winter, (12/21/16,) at 1:00 PM at Evergreen Memorial Park. (26624 N. Turkey Creek Road, Evergreen, CO 80439.)

She was a strong amazing woman! I will never forget all the martin Christmas parties. I remember sitting with you as Nan got better at Craig hospital. She nevery left your side. I am so sorry for you and your family Nan.
We will miss Aunt Susie so much! So sorry for your loss. Nan, you mama was just the best! WE love you so much.
I have so many special memories of Aunt Suzie growing up. Her laugh was always such a wonderful sound, the room would light up. She was always there with a hug when you needed it. She had so much love for everything in life. I will miss her so much. I am so sorry for your loss.

My Aunt Suzie was someone I loved spending time with. She was funny, fiesty, & very loving. It was such a special treat to be able to visit her home and see the animals and get my hair braided. I so admire the way she loved nature. She was a very special part of our family & I still can't believe she's gone. May she Rest In Peace. I love you Aunt Suzie.
