Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Howard Scheidt. She is survived by her daughters: Sharon, Jessie, Penney, 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 1 sister Barbara Cook, 1 brother Ronald Coleman.
Shirley is also survived by her extended family, Judy, Troy, Kathy, Elizabeth, Bryan, Ashley, and baby Amber Coleman.
Shirley is preceded in death by her mom, brothers John and Ken, and Jim Coleman.
Shirley worked at Swedish and Porter’s Hospital.

I just talked to Barbara tonight. Have been trying to reach her since Thursday. I was shocked to learn of Shirley's passing. No one called us to tell us. I did see it in today's paper. Our deepest sympathy to all of the families. I'm sorry that I cannot come to the viewing nor can I come to the funeral. I promised a friend in Wheat Ridge who doesn't drive that I would take her to play bridge on Tuesday from 10 am to 3 pm, and I really can't go back on my promise. Had I known earlier I probably could have found someone else to take her. But Michael and I will be there in spirit since we can't be there in person. Michael refuses to go to funerals. He even missed his grandma Evie's memorial service, and she helped raised him. But you can be assured that he truly loved his Aunt Shirley and will miss her as will I.
