care. In addition to being passionate about making a difference in the lives of children, she loved
music, camping, being on the lake, and being surrounded by friends and loved ones. Samantha
gave the world her light and love, and she will be remembered for her tenacity and welcoming
spirit to all.
Samantha is survived by: her daughter Nevelynn; her parents Teresa Burgess (Brian Wilbourne)

(Kirsten Jones), and David McLeod II; grandparents Sam and Angie Moore as well as many
loved cousins, aunts, uncles, and lifelong friends.
Samantha was preceded in death by her father Mark McLeod and grandparents Melba and
David McLeod.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 am on April 3rd, 2023, at Camp Bratton-Green in
