Robert Kishell, a longtime resident of Aurora, Colorado, passed away on February 6, 2026. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah.
At the age of seventeen, Robert enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, beginning a life defined by courage, service, and dedication to others. Following his military service, he continued his commitment to protecting and serving his community as a Denver police officer. Over the course of his distinguished career, he earned deep respect for his accomplishments, integrity, and unwavering sense of duty.
Robert was a man of strong faith who trusted in God and found peace in that trust. He was a devoted and loving husband to Christine, an admirable father, a cherished grandfather to Kylee and Leslie, and a beloved great-grandfather to Anakin.
He found great joy in fishing, music, panning for gold, and, above all, spending time with his family. He also had a special place in his heart for his four-legged companions. Known as “a father to everyone,” Robert never let anyone go without a meal and was always the person others turned to in times of need.
His kindness, strength, and generous spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered. His legacy lives on in all who knew and loved him—especially in his great-grandson, Anakin, who carries forward his proud legacy.

Bob was one of the best cops I ever knew. You could always count on him doing the right thing and treating everyone with dignity and respect.
I worked with Bobby in Disrtict 4 waaaay back in the 1980s. A good , solid cop and a reliable partner. My condolences to his family.
In the quiet moments, you will feel Bobby’s presence, gently reminding you that love never dies. His essence lives on in the hearts of all those he loved and touched.
May you find comfort in your memories, strength in the love that surrounds you, and peace in knowing how deeply he was cherished.
With my deepest sympathy,
Berta
