Robert Gene Marquez, 66, of Lakewood, CO was called home to be with the Lord on November 14, 2020. He made his grand entrance into this world on May 11, 1954 the son of Arthur Marquez and Theresa Ortiz. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years Karol Marquez. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him, but never forgotten. Cremation has been chosen and services are pending.

I love you so much and will miss you for the rest of my life. You were such a loving brother to me, always there when I needed you. Since I was a little girl, you have always been my hero, looking out for me and taking care of your little sister. My heart is broken Bob, you were taken away so suddenly. It's hard to believe this friend that I've known since Jr High school is now gone. We spent many hours together through those years. I have a fun memory of Bob in high school carrying around his huge Strong's Concordance and his big Bible under his arm. Yes this was during the time of the Jesus Movement. Many young people came to know and understand Jesus as a important person in our lives. We had many good times in fellowship with our High School group of Jesus Freaks. Bob seemed to stay in touch with many of those folks over the years and he was my touchstone when something happened. He will be missed. My sympathy's to his friends and family. May God comfort you.
