Robert Alan Stewart

robert stewart

Born in San Francisco, CA December 13, 1919, after a brief illness he died in
Aurora, CO, February 7, 2010 to begin his journey with Jesus. He is survived by two
sons, Roger W. Stewart of Chino Valley, AZ and Alan H. Stewart of Aurora, CO,
three daughter-in laws Carol Sitton, Nanette Collette, and Beverly Sinclair, three
Grandchildren, Wesley, Scott and Shareen, and five great grand children. He is
preceded in death by Brothers Hugh, Rich, Donald, Sister Olive and his wife Norma.
He graduated from South High School in Denver, CO 1938, married Norma McKee of
Denver, CO, in September 1943. Robert served his country well, starting with the
Colorado National Guard in 1936, and continued his service with tours of duty in the
Army Air Corp in California, the US Air Force in Japan, the Philippines', New
Guinea, Iceland and numerous domestic Strategic Air Command bases in the capacity of
as Air Traffic Controller. He retired from the Air Force as Master Sergeant in 1963,
and moved his family to Denver, Colorado. He continued his service at the Denver
Federal Center as a Federal Protective Officer until his retirement in 1972. Our
greatest regret is that there are people that never had the honor of knowing this
kind, and gentle, man.
"Welcome home, Father."
