Rita Louise Lehmann, a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away on March 28, 2026, at the age of 61.

Born on June 11, 1964 in Lawton, OK, Rita lived a life centered around family, love, and unwavering strength. She was a dedicated homemaker who took immense pride in caring for her home and the people she loved. She was known for her stubborn spirit and strong willed. Rita faced life on her own terms always standing firm in what she believed in.

Rita was the beloved wife of Mark and proud mother of seven children: Tieannie Abel-Lehmann and husband Jonathan, Jason McCullough, ChrisTina McCullough, Raychael Melcher, Joshua Melcher, Cody Melcher and wife Kortnie, Michael Melcher. Her greatest joy came from her growing family including her cherished grandchildren: Shayne Barber, Tyler Haning, Jayden Helmns, Lyla Helmns, Markayla Parks, Jordan McCullough, Emmanuel and Lillianna Leyva (Marcelo); Krystal and Jazmin Guzman; Nezziha Kempf, Linus Free, Kansas and Gracelynn White; and great-grandchildren Amora White.

She is also survived by five sisters Mervia, LeAnn, Laurcresha, Meredith, Dreama; and large extended family of nieces, nephews and loved ones who will miss her deeply.

Rita was preceded in death by her daddy Mervin, grandma Ruby, brother Christopher, her mother Dottie, her dad Bob, great-grandson Gabriel among other extended family members.

Rita will be remembered as a strong, loving woman who held her family close. Her legacy lives on through her children and many lives she touched.

Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
