Richard “Rick” Lee Craven peacefully passed away on January 15, 2023.  He was born in Denver, Colorado on November 8, 1952 to Claude and Belulah Craven.  Rick was the devoted husband and best friend to his loving wife of ten years Theresa.  They were married in Evergreen, Colorado on June 17,2013, the second anniversary of their first date.  Nascar was one of his favorite pastimes.  He also loved fishing, collecting Native American artifacts and remodeling.  In the 1970’s, Rick won first place in roller speed skating.  He was a meticulous hard worker who loved his dog Layla.  He leaves to cherish his memory sisters Claudette Rogers of Casa Grande, Arizona.  Shirley St. John of Palm Coast, Florida.  Stepdaughter Melody Clark of Fort Worth, Texas.  Stepson Joseph Brandfas of Rogers, Arkansas, Sister in law Jackie Williams-Isaac of Metairie, LA and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Family, friends as well as others whose lives Rick touched are invited to his celebration of life at St. Paul’s Community Church 8001 West 23rd Avenue Lakewood, Colorado 80214. As a Navy Veteran, a full Military Funeral will follow the service at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
