Remembering the Life of Richard (Dick) Johnson
June 2, 1934 - September 21, 2017

Richard Allen Johnson passed away on September 21, 2017, shortly after being diagnosed with stage four lung cancer. Although the end was swift, we are thankful that he is no longer suffering. He was a healthy, happy man who loved his family very much. He raised three beautiful children, Jim, Lynn, and Jerry, and adored and cared for his loving wife, Delores. In his youth, he worked incredibly hard and spent his free time camping and hunting in the woods. As he got older, his work ethic never faltered. He was a leader in every aspect of life, at work, at home, at play.  Being in his presence brought calm, security and focus to the people around him.

Those who had the pleasure of knowing this stoic, genuine, and intelligent man are all better for it. He was looked up to as a role model by more people than he ever realized.

He will be missed by many, especially his family and friends. Please join his wife, Delores Johnson and his children, Jim Johnson, Lynn Slouka and Jerry Johnson as they celebrate his wonderful life.
