Raynard Tousarnt Hugee also known as V-Sams was born on March 20, 1961 to Idellar Hugee and Thomas Dockery at Kings Count Hospital. To know Ray was to Love him. He was kind, giving, Loving and very "humorous" with his jokes. If you needed anything Ray had it , you had it. He would give you the shirt off his back. If you didn't have a place to stay he would tell you , "come on you can stay at my house". Ray joined the US Army in July 1979 where he was a Bio- Medical Equipment Specialist and his other accomplishments were he received Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbons, Good Conduct Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Professional Development Ribbon, Sharp Shooter (Grenade) Expert and also completed 2 years of college at Regis University. In his spare time he was owner/host of One "Blunt" Radio where he did his show called V-James Off The Couch and toured as a hypeman with 1 Blunt Radio with over 400 shows. As a Veteran he handled out clothing and medication to the homeless and to the children. He leaves to mourn his wife Valerie Hugee of 18 years, his 6 daughters, Paula, Ikesha, Nia ,Trisha, Tiana and Sheba, 12 grandchildren. His mother and father preceded him in death as well as 5 siblings. His remaining siblings are Nathaniel, Frank, Rodney, Darlene and Ellen and a host Of nieces and nephews and special friend Freddrick Moore, Archie Matthews and Rick Wainwright.
