Randolph Joe "Randy" Schmitt

Randolph Joe Schmitt 'Schmitty' was born on March 1st 1969 in Wichita KS to Eugene N. Schmitt and Emogene L. Cargill-Schmitt. Randy grew up in the quiet middle class neighborhood of Bear Valley in South West Denver. Randy attended Traylor Elementary, Henry Junior High and Graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 1987. Growing up Randy was an avid BMX bike racer and loved music. Some of his favorite bands were Judist Priest, Iron Maiden, AC/DC and Kiss. You get the idea. He loved his heavy metal! Growing up where Randy did, he had the privilege of attending school with many of the same kids from elementary school through high school. This allowed him to develop many life long friendships that he cherished deeply. After High School Randy attended Metropolitan State college of Denver and began a career as an IT Specialist. Randy left us unexpectedly on January 26th 2014 at the age of 44. Randy was a devoted son to Eugene and Emogene and a remarkable friend to many. Randy will be laid to rest in eastern Oklahoma next to his dear father Eugene. Randy is survived by his mother Emogene Schmitt and his close friends
