November 11, 1963 ~ June 15, 2016
Phil Archuleta Nov. 11, 1963 - Jun. 15, 2016 Our beloved husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle, minister, and friend Phillip Ray Archuleta Sr. passed on peacefully at home. Born to Felix Archuleta and Phyllis Giron. He discovered the love of his life, Angie Cordova, while they were both working as telemarketers. She knew from the moment she saw him through the window that he was going to be her husband. One day at work, she went up to Phil, shoved him up against the wall, and kissed him for the very first time. He was so shocked that she would do this at their job, but at the same time she melted his heart, and he fell in love with her instantly. A year and half later, on July 11th, 1981, they were married. Over the next 6 years their love would blossom forth four beautiful children. As a family man, Phil strived to be a loving and caring husband and father. Whether he was telling jokes or just acting silly, he was always sure to make someone laugh. Through thick and thin he always provided for his family's material, spiritual, and emotional needs. He maintained a stable job at King Soopers and eventually launched his own business, i.e., Reliable Commercial Cleaning Services, LLC. Phil was very passionate about his faith in Jesus. Giving others a chance at eternal life, through the acceptance of Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour, was one of the most valued treasures his heart had to offer. Devoting his life to ministry, he became an ordained minister as well as hosting and leading many bible study home groups. Phil is survived by his wife, Angela Archuleta, and his children; Phillip (Tobie) Archuleta Jr., Joseph (Michelle) Archuleta, Candas (Alex) Zacharzuk, and Chandal Archuleta. He is also survived by his 15 beautiful grandchildren; Katrina, Devon, Joseph Jr., Jadin, Noah, Justen, Ian, Xavier, Eli, Jordan, Joel, Mya, Kaliyah, Mykal, and Avery. We will be sharing memories and celebrating his life Wednesday, June 22nd at 1:00 P.M. at Bethlehem Lutheran Chapel (2100 Wadsworth Blvd, Denver, CO 80214). We will then be escorted to Riverside Cemetery (5201 Brighton Blvd, Denver, CO 80216). Reception to follow at the American Legion (5110 Morrison Rd, Denver, CO 80219).
