Pete Stenbeck
June 30, 1924 - November 28, 2013
His given name was Leonard but he was loved and known by family and friends as Pete. He is survived by his wife Delilah, his son Mike, and his daughters Ginger and Cindy; granchildren Mark, Megan, Troy, Nick and Amber; great-grandchildren Caleb, Brendan and Trent.
He worked in the gas division of Public Service from 1955 until he retired in September 1986 as a fitter foreman. He served proudly in the Army in World War ll. He loved to spend his free time watching football with family, bowling, golfing and fishing with his friends. He will be greatly missed but will live on in our hearts.
Dear Stenbeck Family;
Pete will be sorely missed by me and his many friends. He was always a joy to know and to share time and recollections with..
We send our sincere condolances to you, his family.

Pete was a true gentle men. I always enjoyed being around him, as he was always so gracious. He will truly be missed.
Delilah, I have many good memories of you and Pete when you came back to Fremont to visit family and stayed at mom and dads in your camper! Your visits meant a lot to us and we enjoyed them. I know how painful it is to lose a loved one and pray that God will help you through this. I am sure Pete and Ted are together in heaven now and talking about old times! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Sincerely, Marla Sick
Pete was a good friend at Public Service Co. Always enjoyed working with him. Could always count on him to give me a ride home if I needed it.
Oh Delilah – we were just devastated to hear the news about Pete in your note today. He was one of our favorite humans, and we will miss him and his "Swedish" personality so much! We still have a jar of half eaten white fish in the fridge that he told us to try last summer. Just can't believe we won't get to celebrate his 90th next June……surround yourself with your great family & friends to get through this.
We will be in touch – Shawn & Bruce
