Penny time line
Penny was born Jan 17, 1945 in Minneapolis, Minn.
Lived in Mound Minnesota 1945 – 1950
The family moved to Marshalltown Iowa in 1950.
Mother and father were divorced in 1951. Penny, her older sister Micki and her mother, Anita lived with their grandmother Vada in Iowa until 1955.
In 1955 Penny, Micki, Anita, Aunt Karen and Vada moved to Boulder Colorado were Vada owned and operated the Top Hat Café on Arapahoe Ave until 1956.
In 1956 the girls moved to Ft Morgan, Colorado where Vada owned and operated the Southworth Motel and Truck Stop for a time. They lived in Ft Morgan until 1958.
Anita became very ill in 1958 so Penny and Micki went to live with their father Ed in Coon Rapids, Minnesota until 1960.
Penny’s mother recovered in 1960 and Penny and Anita moved to Denver, Colorado.
Penny married her first husband, Andy Ruscio in 1961 and her son, Douglas was born in 1963.
Penny later divorced Andy. Penny got a job working second shift at the Samsonite luggage factory making luggage. In 1967, Penny started going to Metro State College during the day while still working at Samsonite. She would study while working the luggage line.
During her 1st semester of college she met David Wedding in English 101 class and they were married in Aug of 1970. Penny, Doug and David lived in southeast Denver.
Penny had a long and successful working career. While still at Samsonite she transferred to the key punch department and then became a computer operator on second shift. She moved into programming and then worked in the luggage division and later in the furniture division. When Samsonite decided to move the furniture division to Tennessee, Penny went to work at Hewlett Packard and then DRC after Hewlett Packard sold the software application. While at DRC Penny was a developer, trainer and project manager. Penny then moved to IMR as a project manager and then retired in 2007.
Retirement consisted of keeping the yard and house up, taking care of two senior cats and keeping David organized.
Penny enjoyed her cul de sac neighbors and liked summer evenings sitting outside and watching the children and visiting and sharing her latest wine discovery with the neighbors.
Survived by her husband David, son Doug, daughter in law Patricia and granddaughters Alejandra and Raquel.
Sister Micki Carpenter and husband Roger and nieces; Laurie Conderman, Lynn Anderson and nephew John Carpenter.
Brother in law Jerry Wedding and wife Kathy.
Sister in law Elaine Wedding and nieces; Jamie Wedding, Erin Wedding and nephew Patrick Wedding.
A Celebration of Penelope's life will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 6500 E. Girard Avenue, on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 11:15 am.

While searching through geneology, I came across Penny's obituary and I express my condolences to you and your family. My father and Penny's father Ed were brothers. Do you know where I can locate Micki or Nikki Trentine, another cousin of Art & Pat Trentine?
