and loyal friend who will be missed immensely.

Paul was born as the eighth child of Joseph Liberatore and Judith Sheppard on May 4,
1964, in Honolulu, Hawaii. After graduating from Roosevelt High School in San Antonio, Texas,
he became a certified arborist, highly regarded among coworkers and customers alike for his
dedication and expertise. He owned a successful tree company, Rope N’ Saddle Tree Service,
where he maintained and uplifted the nature and landscape of hundreds of homes and
communities. Even in his free time, he loved tending to the family garden. His legacy, woven
into every branch he cared for, will flourish and be remembered by all whose lives he touched.
Paul was known for his kindness, generosity, and the warmth he extended to everyone
he met. His compassionate nature and genuine concern for others made him a beloved figure in
his community. Always one to help his friends and community, he never asked for anything in

especially in his final years. An ardent scholar of the Bible, he spent countless hours studying its
teachings and applying them to his daily life, sharing the word with those around him. His deep
faith and spiritual wisdom were a guiding light to many, offering hope and inspiration in times of
need.

He was most passionate about his family and being a devoted husband and father. His
careful guidance and steadfast support created a loving environment where his family thrived. In
times of struggle and hardship, he would always persist to bring his family through,
demonstrating unwavering dedication and resilience. Paul’s love for his family was boundless,
evident in many of his life’s actions. Whether it was flying thousands of miles to help them in
Indonesia, offering wise counsel to his children, or spending quiet moments with his wife, he
ensured his family felt cherished and supported. His enduring love will guide his family through
the years to come.
