Proceeded in death by Carl C Jones, father, Helen M Jones, mother and 1st wife June Jones.
Survived by Wife Karen. Children Carl, Paul, Lynn and Greg. 13 grandchildren, 15 great grand
children, 1 great great grandchild. Stepson Scott Morris and 3 step grandchildren.

Paul spent his life happy and enjoyed his friends and family. His career was a passion in mining.
He graduated as a mining engineer, with his first position in British Guiana in the early 1960’s.
In the 1970’s and 80’s he spent overseeing exploration development and management of mining properties in the central U.S. till landing in Golden Co. (3rd time) in 1981 and stayed.

Along the way Paul received several awards, one being the William Lawerence Gold Medal
from AIME in 2004 and the MMSA President Citation for his services as treasurer 2005-2015.
He was a past chairman for the National Mining Hall of Fame and Museum in Leadville Co.

Paul was a member of the Golden Kiwanis and helped the Boy Scouts place American flags
in the community. He also was an Adjunct Professor for the Colorado School of Mines. Paul also volunteered at the Christian Action Guild (Golden Pantry and Thrift)

Memorial will be scheduled for the Spring
