Paul Brian Gallagher

March 7, 1947 ~ March 14, 2017
Paul Brian Gallagher was a beloved husband of 42 years, admired father, son, brother, uncle, and a deeply loved friend to many. Born on March 7, 1947, in Albany, New York, he passed peacefully at his mountain home in Conifer, CO, on March 14, 2017.
Paul had a large circle of family and friends that he trusted, mentored, entertained, and was seen by them as a "Giant among Men" An avid Broncos fan and softball player, that never want those sport seasons to end. He will be honored at Fort Logan Cemetery on March 31, 2017.
Paul served in the Vietnam War from January 1969 to January 1970. After Vietnam, while he was stationed at Fort Carson, in Colorado Springs, CO, he fell in love with Colorado. He returned to New York and came home to Colorado three years later. It became his forever home.
Paul was a registered land surveyor in his early career. He became an estimator and project manager for Ames Construction in 1982, where he worked for 32 years. He managed many large projects, including, highway reconstructing, shopping centers and Denver International Airport. In his retirement, he briefly returned to inspecting highway safety and surveying, and was looking forward to softball and the Broncos. He will be greatly missed by all he knew.
