Patricia Elaine Rendon
Patsy was born in Denver on February 28th, 1942. She was the eldest daughter and the
2nd eldest of 9 children in the Olivas family. As the eldest female, she helped raise the
last 4 of the Olivas family. Born to Herman & Rita Olivas who are no longer with us.
Patsy was a hard-working wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was
employed at Martin Marietta, Rocky Flats, Storage Tech, Sun Micro Systems, and TSA.
After she retired Patsy would say “Now I can do what I want when I want, and if I want”.
She became a wearer of many hats. She loved baking, sewing, and crafts.
She lost her husband, Keneth Rendon on Valentine’s Day in 2004, and her only son
Randy Rendon on October 5th of this year. She is survived by her daughter Kennda,
son-in-law Mike Hankins, and daughter-in-law Shawna Rendon. Her grandsons Travis,
Trent (Caitlin), Kyle (Kelsey), and one granddaughter, Tiana (Gabe). Five great
grandsons Andres, Jayden, Braxton, Kenny, and Trevin. Four great-granddaughters
Olivia, Adalyn, Heidi, and Emmie. Her sisters Linda, Susie, Cindy, and Lupe who
passed on January 14, 2020: four brothers, Bobby, Tony, Dennis, and Greg, and many
nieces and nephews.
Patsy had a huge heart and opened her home to many.
