Memories of Patricia

"What I remember about mom is: The love and caring she gave to everyone, she would listen to everything that they said because she cared. I remember a picture that I took of mom and she had a lamp shade on her head, she made a pose and I clicked the camera, she was mad, but she loved it".                Theresa

"Grandma was always willing to help in any way she could. She helped her grandkids in academics. (6x8=48)"                  Andrew

"I remember Grandma's girls day shopping trips for Christmas. All the girls getting together getting Starbucks, listening to Brenda Lee go to the store wandering and getting lost and finding each other hiding gifts we got one another. I also remember grandma dancing to Jingle Bell Rock".                         Ashley

"It didn't matter what you needed, Grandma had it. usually in the hall closet. So many to choose from, but I think my most treasured times were our Christmas baking days and telling Papa she cheated at cards".                  Amber

"It's hard to describe the type of person my Grandmother was. She was sweet, caring, supportive and smart. There was no hiding anything from her, Grandma's always know. She always made sure her children and grandchildren were taken care of. She was a very kindred spirit and loved everyone unconditionally, there was nothing she wouldn't do for her family".                 Adam

  1. Oh, grandma.. so many memories. How do I choose? Do i mention the worms we used to feed to ants? Do i remember all the card games that you won fair and square, but I told papa you cheated anyway? How you used to take food off our plates when we couldnt eat it, so we werent in trouble? Throwing plastic cups at you in the dollar tree? I love you, grandma. I am going to miss you, so very much.

  2. Aunt Pat, who is going to chide me when I visit "Jimbo, Jimbo my little boy-o!" Mom and Aunt Peggy will I know but it won't be the same, as big sis set how it should be sung. Glad we had chance to talk and to know every time when I return to Colorado you be there. Now I not only there but on the other side of eternity waiting to sing Jimbo, Jimbo my little boy-o. . .
Love you and see you soon,
    Jimmy

  3. It's been many years since I've seen my cousin, Patti, & most of her family, but I am told of how wonderfully close & caring you are. Reading the posted comments confirmed this fact, & also brought tears to my eyes. What a testament to Patti's well-lived & well-loved life. Sending my heart-felt sympathy to my Colorado family for such a huge loss. May God bless each & every one as you finish your journey with one less guiding light in your midst.

  4. Most Precious Angel

I never knew heartbreak, until that Monday morning. To hear the words, "She's Gone." My life changed that day.. How am I going to take care of my angels?

Mom, I won't have you to talk to, to laugh with, to cry with, to smile with, or even to play games with. You are my best friend.. You always will be. And now you walk among the clouds to watch over all of us. To see all of our firsts, like Christmases, Birthdays, Halloweens, Even Aliyah's first steps. I'm going to miss our talks, our jokes, laughter.. our time on our days together.

You are a wonderful Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and friend for all. May this most precious angel go with the grace and beauty of all that you are.

I will always love you, and will forever miss you.

    Love, Dee.
    "From heart to heart
    it calls through the wind
    my love for you
    will never end. "
    I love you, Momma.

  5. My grandmother was truly a woman of all trades. She not only helped me with my schooling but she also helped mold me into the man I am today. My grandma taught me respect, honor, discipline among many other things. She is the reason I do what I do and love what I love. Her many words of wisdom will always stay with me and make me continue being the man I hope can only make her proud. I love you grandma. I will forever miss you and your warmth and love. R.I.P.
