Olivia Botha (Vivi), beloved sister and aunt, passed away in her sleep on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at her home in Enlgewood, Colorado.  She was 94.  Her gentle kindness will be missed.  Olivia was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on February 25, 1918, the daughter of Anna and John Botha and sister of Eleanor Botha Kennedy.  She grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota with her mother and stepfather, John Angle, later serving for twenty years in the United States Air Force, and retired as a Master Sergeant. After her retirement from the Air Force, she served as an assistant with the Bureau of Hearings and Appeals for the Social Security Administration.  Olivia spent a great deal of time traveling around the world with visits throughout Europe and the Middle East.

Olivia moved to Colorado in 1986 and lived in the Meridian community in Englewood, Colorado.  She was a life member with the Minnesota Chapter of the American Legion, the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, and was active in the Romanian Orthodox Church in St. Paul, Minnesota and St. Herman Orthodox Church in Littleton, Colorado.

She is survived by her sister, Eleanor Botha Kennedy (Tom), two nieces, Katy Schaaf (Paul) of Thornton and Mimi Means (Steve) of Las Vegas, and a nephew Mark (Diane) of Centennial.  At her request, interment and services will be conducted later in St. Paul Minnesota.  In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to charity of choice.
