Nancy Ann Harper

Nancy Ann Harper (Biney), passed away December 10th, 2017. She was 84 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents Edna and Albert Ecke, her sister Jean Edwards and husband Robert E Harper. Survived by her six children Kenneth (Suzy) Harper, Dennis (Sara) Harper, Timothy (Lydia) Harper, Lisa Werdehoff, Theresa (Lorie Dreiling) Harper and Danny (Ellen Goldberg) Harper, nine grandchildren, and fourteen great grand children.
Nancy married Robert on a snowy day in May 1954. She was a devout Catholic and attended mass weekly at St. Rose of Lima Church where she was a parishioner for many years. She attended elementary and high school in Denver at St. Francis de Sales Catholic school. Nancy worked as a librarian for Goldrick elementary school.
Nancy was an avid reader, enjoyed going to the Country Dinner Playhouse, spending time playing cards with her family and going out for lunch with her friends. She had a huge collection of bells, was a excellent trivia player and easily cried during sappy movies.
Nancy got the name of Biney when she was a child rocking a baby doll and singing "Rock a bye Biney". She also looked forward to spending time with her grandkids and who could ever forget her rendition of the ever popular song "Up in the air Jr. Birdman" while make upside down glasses with her fingers around her eyes.
Nancy will be deeply missed by family and friends. Goodbye until we meet again.
