Mona Jones

Mona Jones

Passed away on January 18, 2020 in Lakewood, Colorado, she was 69 years old.

Mona was born in Omack, Washington, grew up in Carterville and Rosebud Montana. She graduated from Rosebud High School in 1969. After graduation she attended Eastern College in Billings and Miles City Junior College where she graduated. She then went to Seattle, Washington to help grandmother Saylor. She then moved to Fort Collins where she worked at the Good Samaritan Senior Home as a cook and also took courses in Greely, Colorado to become a dietician. She then worked for McDonalds for 15 years. After she moved to Lakewood, Colorado where she worked at Stockton Animal Hospital as a vet tech and maintenance.

She is survived by her uncle, Dr. John Saylor of Moses Lake, Washington; her sister, Carolyn and Calvin Lambert; her brother, Wayne  and Katherine Jones of Roseberg, Oregon; nephews, Ken and Stacey Eberhardt of Loveland, Colorado, August Eberhardt of Magma, Utah, Darlene McCabe of Arvada, Colorado, Cristine and Mike Jacobson of Idaho and Tony and Aaron Jones of Oregon; and five great nieces. 

Mona loved fishing, gardening, animals, cooking for the Boy Scout Camps and good friends.
