Mitzi Jones

Mitzi Jones, Wife of Bert Jones, Mother of Anita (Able) and Christie (Wiltfong). Step Mother of Robert and Dan Jones. She had 9 Grand children and 8 Great-Grandchildren. She also had 2 brothers and a sister. Born in Decatur, IL 73 years ago. Mitzi moved to Denver in 1943 where she finished school and made her life. She dearly loved her family and the Colorado Mountains. Mitzi was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling, where she enjoyed seeing new cities and landmarks. Mitzi liked to see the industrial sections of new cities as well, because she liked the architectural and mechanical side of everything. She wanted to know what made things work. She was a partner with Bert in the trucking business in Colorado and California managing the Payroll and Settlement Department. On returning to Denver she managed a self-storage site in Littleton for nearly 14 years before retiring to enjoy her home and family. Mitzi was so outgoing with people. Everywhere she went she spoke with strangers and made friends with everyone. Everyone admired her for honesty and straightforwardness. We shall miss her deeply and know that she will meet and make friends anew along the way.
