Mary Lou Spinner (maiden name, Aluise) was born on August 2, 1928 in Salida, Colorado. Later, her parents, Biogio and Christina Marie Aluise, moved to 1409 Lipan Street in Denver, Colorado. She spent the remainder of her childhood at that address with her four brothers: Alex, Frank, William and Pete Aluise.

Mary attended West High School. She enjoyed art classes and loved to watch movies! During her teenage years, she met her husband, Joseph Spinner. They were married on November 6, 1948. Mary and Joe were married for 61 years. Joe passed away on October 25, 2010 of Alzheimer’s disease.

Mary and Joe had two children, Larry Joseph, and JoAnna Marie. Larry passed away on February 12, 2000 at the young age of 49.

JoAnna married Thomas Kennedy and shortly after gave Mary and Joe two grandchildren, Sean and Dana. Sean has a daughter named Kaylee (age 19) and a son named Kaden (age 17 months). Dana has one son named Forrest (13 months).

Mary loved spending time with her family. Nothing made her happier than watching her grandchildren grow up. She was even more thrilled to be provided with great grandchildren. Mary also enjoyed spending time up in Blackhawk and Central City in the casinos. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband Joe after he retired.

Mary deeply enjoyed life and the company of others. She loved meeting new people and jumped on the opportunity to make a new friend. She was loved by all her neighbors in Littleton, Colorado (Apollo Court crew).

Mary loved her brothers and appreciated that Pete and Bill came to visit her often.

She will be truly missed by so many people.

God bless her and may she rest in peace.
