Kreger, Mary Catherine "Mary Kay"


Mary Catherine Kreger 71, of Denver, CO passed away suddenly at Rose Medical Center on May 8th, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Veronice Reiland, her Husband, Don S. Kreger, and her Brother, Art. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Rebecca (Wilbur) Deck, her son, Josh (Julia), and her stepson, Todd (Mila). She will also be fondly remembered by her sister-in-law, Nell, and her nieces and nephews: Mari Nell (Ted) Battreall, Sean (Veronica), Andrea (Eric) Bell, and Erika (Jaime) Pugh. She will also be sorely missed by her five grandchildren: Pearl, Odin, Donnie, Wyatt, Rocky; and many more family and dear friends. Born on December 30th, 1946 in Chicago, IL. Mary lived a full life, raising her loving family in Milwaukee, WI on Lake Michigan where she ran a family daycare and cultivated her love of entertaining, ballet, and culinary arts. She relocated to Denver, CO in 2010 to be closer to family. Mary Kay had an infectious personality and was a great conversationalist with a taste for the 'finer things in life'. She loved her family dearly and will be missed by all whom she came into contact with.


Services will be held on Wednesday, May 16th, at 11am, at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver, CO. Celebration of life and reception to follow at the Deck Residence.
