Memories Timeline

  1. To my favorite sister-in-law, to Cheryl and to my brother Dan,

My thoughts and prayers have been with you every step of the way.  You have not only lost your mom, but also a best friend.  Please know that the road you are traveling will become more tolerable.  Mary was a great comfort to my mom, and a second mom to my brother, she was not only welcomed home by the arms of Jesus, but also by the friendship of Dan and I's mom.  As the days continue please know that every raindrop that falls are tears of your mom missing you, every ray of sunshine is the warmth that she has with Jesus, every whisper of wind is her caring touch for her family.  My prayers, love and thoughts will be with you.

Please…..laugh upon the Monkled moments when you catch your breath!!

  2. Mary was always someone I could look up to ever since I met her around 1960.  She was a wonderful Christian example and her faith never seemed to waiver.  She endured lots of sad happenings in her life and always came through them with a positive spirit.  She had many talents.  She was a teacher, Bible studier, artist, craft person, homemaker, seamstress (great quilter) , gardener, and at one time was both a mother and a dad to her two daughters.  Everything she did was always done to the best of her ability.  Also had a sense of humor.  Was so proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as her daughters.

She endured her years of battling cancer with amazing courage and strength.

Yes, Mary, I will miss you…more than I thought I would.  I'm sure Heaven is happy to have you there to add even more sunshine. Truly, you are a friend of Jesus.  I will miss your phone calls and visits in person.  I'm planning on seeing you again!  Love, Your friend  Jean
