Mary Jane Strimple

Mary Jane Strimple died on December 29, 2009 in Littleton, Colorado. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on January 30, 1922. She received her Bachelor's degree from Milwaukee State Teachers College and her Master's degree from The Ohio State University. She lived in Wadsworth, Ohio for more than 50 years and worked as a school psychologist in the Highland Schools. She was active in the community serving on the Wadsworth Library Board and the Medina County Mental Health Board.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jane. She is survived by her daughter, Marty, son-in-law Rob Hutt, and grandchildren Joshua and Andrew Fisher, Sarah and David Hutt.

A memorial mass will be held Tuesday, January 12 at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Wadsworth. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Louis Catholic School, 3301 S. Sherman Street, Englewood, CO 80113 or to the Wadsworth Public Library, 132 Broad Street, Wadsworth, Ohio 44281.
