It is with great sadness, but joy knowing Mary A. Checots 85, has entered into the realms of Heaven. Beloved Mother, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Friend. Mary was born September 3, 1935 in Cheyenne, Wy and spent the majority of her life in Denver, Co, most recently Lakewood, Co. She always knew how to brighten someone’s day. If you were lucky to have spent more than five minutes in her presence you were forever changed. She was an incredible lady and will be missed by many.

Preceded in death by her husband Albert Checots and daughter Leslie Kay Kissel (Tim – Surviving Husband). She is survived by her daughter Laura D. Checots and son Mark A. Checots (Kathy).

Seven Grandchildren, Casey Hunt, Christopher Kissel, Sam Kissel, Carly Kissel, Teri Checots, Marcus Checots and Amanda Checots. Four Great-Grandchildren, Tatiana Hunt, Roman Hunt, Giada Hunt, Faith Beacham and many other extended family members. May she rest in peace.

Flowers may be sent to Lakeview Event Center 7864 W. Jewell Avenue, Lakewood, Co 80232. October 22, 2020 from 11:00-4:00pm.
