Mark Thomas Dixon

Mark Thomas Dixon,
49, died Saturday 11/8/08 after a brief, yet valiant battle with pancreatic cancer.

Mark was born in Syracuse, NY, and was a graduate of Vernon-Verona-Sherrill High School, and Niagara University. He received his MBA from Webster University. Mark moved to the Denver area in 2001 after many years of traveling here for business and falling in love with hiking and skiing in the mountains. He had a passion for travel, which took him on many adventures around the world, many with his close friend Sara Achey.


Mark is survived by his brothers Tom (Shannon) of Sherrill, NY, Chris (Jacki) of Moon Township, PA and his sister Mary Rogan (Mike) of Pittsford, NY, as well as special friends Brian Friske and Heather Divens, all who were with him as he ended his journey on earth and moved on to his new adventure. He is also survived by his beloved mother, Mary Dixon, and niece Amy, and nephews Pat, Mark, Dan, Tim, Rory and Drew, all of whom were enthralled with Uncle Mark's tales of his travels. Mark also had many, many close friends around the country.

A memorial service will be held in Sherrill, NY on December 27, followed by an Irish Wake.
