Marjorie Ann Pabst

A longtime resident of Englewood, Colorado, Marj passed away on April 8^th, 2015. She was born to Albert Pabst and Wave Lenore Caldwell on June 29, 1922 in Youngstown, Ohio. Marj graduated from South High School in Youngstown, Ohio in 1940 and from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana in 1944 with a BS in Home Economics. She interned at Lawson General Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.

In 1945, Marj joined the US Army Medical Specialist Corp as a dietician. She served as a dietetic consultant to troops and field hospitals in Korea from 1963 - 1964. In addition, she was stationed in Germany serving as a dietetic consultant to the US Army Medical Command, the 9^th Hospital Center for troops and 11 European hospitals from 1967 - 1970.  After 25 years of service, Marj retired in 1970 as a Lt. Colonel.

Marj was preceded in death by her sister, M. Jean Caldwell and nephew, John Caldwell. She is survived by nephews Dave and Michael Caldwell, niece Carolyn Brodkorb and numerous great and great-great nephews and nieces.
