Marisa passed away peacefully in her sleep at home.  She was diagnosed with stage IV cancer in January of 2016.  She was very strong and brave during her fight of this disease for two and a half years. She had many passions, including her love of animals, especially dogs. She had an Associates Degree in Animal Science from Bel Rea Institute of Animal Technology and worked many years as a veterinary technician. She loved flowers and gardening and enjoyed helping in her grandparents yard. She had a passion for music of all kinds, Cher being her favorite, drawing, poetry, both reading and writing also brought her happiness. Missy loved to laugh and and had a beautiful smile.  She had a collection of beautiful rocks and crystals, her latest passion.

She is survived by her father, Larry George, mother Sandy (Bob Erickson) and her brother Chris; also numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
