Marie French

Marie French passed away Saturday, November 16th, 2013.  She is survived by her husband, James; children, Nancy and Robert and grandchildren, Christina, Angela and April and her sister, Betty and numerous nieces, nephew and cousins.

Marie was born September 24th, 1937 in Denver, CO to Margaret and Ed Witt.  She attended Denver Christian schools and went on to become a third grade teacher prior to marriage after graduating from Calvin College.  In 1967 Marie met and married James French.  They had two children, Nancy and Robert.  Marie loved children and after her career as a teacher, remained very active teaching Sunday School, volunteering at Denver Christian and Asbury Elementary and doing daycare.  She loved the Lord with all her heart and everything she did was with the goal of winning people for Jesus and someday going to heaven to be with him. 

Viewing will be held at Bullock Mortuary from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, November 21st.  Memorial Service will be held at noon at Denver First Church of the Nazarene on Friday, November 22nd with a graveside service immediately after at Crown Hill Cemetery.  There will be a reception to follow in Fellowship Hall at Denver First Church of the Nazarene.
