Margaret Alice Benton

Margaret Alice Hott Benton was born in Enid, Oklahoma on July 24, 1924, she passed away on August 26, 2015 at North Suburban Hospital in Thornton, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her husband, James O. Benton. Mrs. Benton received her Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Oklahoma, and her Masters degree from Oklahoma State University. She retired as Director of Lunchrooms for the Denver Public Schools .Mrs. Benton was a member of the Daughters of the Nile, Eastern Star, Daughters of the American Revolution, Daughters of American Colonists and Daughters of the War of 1812.. She is survived by her son, Keith M. Beauvais, grandson, Keith T. Beauvais both of Thornton, Colorado; she is also survived by her step-son James Benton and his wife Jackie Benton of Centennial, Colorado. Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2105 at 12:15 P.M. at Fort Logan National Cemetery; please meet at STAGING AREA "C" by 12 NOON for the 12:15 P.M. Committal.
