Magdalene Cerjan
December 6, 1924 ~ May 25, 2015
On May 25, 2015 Magdalene Cerjan, a longtime resident of Austinburg, OH, passed away at Littleton Hospital in Littleton, CO due to respiratory failure. She was 90 years old. Magda is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Cerjan of 59 years, and is survived by son Frank (Bernie), daughter Anita Fowler (Rob, deceased), grandchildren Keith (Karla), Kristi Howard (Clint), Tiffany Fowler, and 4 great grandchildren Kimberly and Kole Cerjan, and Parker and Paytin Howard.
Magda moved to Ohio from her beloved birthplace of Bayreuth, Germany in 1948 as a wartime bride. She enjoyed working in her garden, baking, and being outdoors. Magda was fond of swimming and spending time with family. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and great aunt. She was deeply loved and will be missed.
Services and resting place will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery on Monday, June 22 at 10:15 am at Staging Area C with a reception to follow. There will be a memorial service in Ohio at a later date.
