Lydia Weitzel
Lydia was born March 14, 1925 in Fort Morgan, Colorado to Jacob and Katherine Knaub. She Passed into Glory on December 13, 2016 in Centennial, Colorado. Lydia married Eugene Weitzel on September 18, 1949. Her interests include sewing, reading and knitting. Lydia is survived by her beloved husband Eugene of 67 years, beloved mother of Dan (Deb) Weitzel and Marilyn (Dave) Sjaardema, beloved grandmother of Chris (Andrea), Wendy, Scott, Jamie (Emma) and Andrew and beloved Great-grandmother of Will.
A celebration of Lydia's life will be held at the Porter Hospice (5020 E. Arapahoe Road, Centennial, CO) on Monday, December 19th at 11:00 a.m.. Private family graveside services will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
