Guestbook

  1. Lisa and I were in the board of Coloradans for Alternatives to the Death Penalty together. She was so kind, fun, creative, and dedicated. Her family are in my thoughts. Sending all my love.

  2. Lisa was tireless advocate for the criminally accused and a fierce opponent of the death penalty. She was always there with a smile. What an upbeat person in an often sorrow filled profession. She will be greatly missed.

  3. I was immediately saddened and then broke into a smile remembering all the times I spent with her, some while speaking with groups. My hard core approach to Anti Death Penalty work was always softened by her deep understanding and kindness. I have tears of joy and love

  4. I brought in Lisa as my paralegal sometime in the late 90s, and she worked for me for 10 years before taking over CADP. We also worked together years later at Vicente Sederberg, before I retired, .

She charged through life taking on challenge after challenge. More often than not she won the battle. Insuring the welfare of those around her was her mission, whether it was her children, her childrenss children, our clients, or society at large (read: DP repeal). And, oh yeah, raising two daughters on her own. A quick look in a dictionary for synonyms to determination reveals Lisa Cisneros.

  5. Lisa worked together off and on for several projects over the years. She could always make me laugh and her smile will be deeply missed. All of her family are in our thoughts. Pamela Clifton

  6. I'm so saddened to hear Lisa went home, but reassured in knowing her spirit flies freely, soaring to heights that matched her amazing character and perseverance.
Lisa taught me about The Long Game, and I will forever be thankful for the lessons of patience and grace.
The incredible work she did over years and years to help spur our state to abolish the death penalty will never be forgotten, for she was definitely a driving force in moving this forward and the 2 will always be intertwined in my heart…she walked her path with such grace and love, and a sense of compassion for the least among us….rest easy now mama Lisa, you earned it… Brenda
