Lilah Neal

Lilah J. Neal, Denver, Colorado went to be with our Lord April 8th, 2013 from a short illness with cancer. She was born October 25th, 1929 to Paul and Ruth Hayes in Denver, Colorado. She graduated from South High School in Denver, married Rudy Witek and had two children. Rudy preceded her in 1974.
She loved life, was an avid bowler, and loved water skiing, loved to travel but most of all loved giving to her family. She is preceded by William A. Neal her true love in life who was a retired Denver Fire Department Firefighter.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Richard and Marilyn Hayes in Forsyth, Missouri, two children, Gary Witek and wife Loretta from Phoenix, Arizona and Gail Wasinger in Aurora Colorado. She has five grandchildren (Todd Witek, Melissa Coleman, Michele Carpinello, Christina Haviland, and Gina Baratta) and eight great grandchildren (Trinity Witek, Audrey and Ellie Coleman, Cameron Carpinello, Morgan and Laney Haviland, Elias and Drea Sweeney). She is loved and will be missed and will forever be in our hearts. Her life was one of tremendous generosity, unselfishness and giving to all that knew her.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 12th at Bullocks Mortuary 8:45am with burial at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, 10:15am with a reception to follow at the VFW Hall 9644 located at 2680 W. Hampden Avenue at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Cancer Society of America.
