Leonid "Leo" Ryabenko

Leonid (Leo) Ryabenko, 77, went to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on October 5, 2025, in Aurora, Colorado. Born on August 24, 1948, in Odesa, Ukraine. Leonid was a loving husband, father, brother and friend.

Leonid is survived by his beloved wife of almost 56 years, Tatyana Ryabenko; cherished daughter, Nina Paulson and much respected and treasured son-in-law, Rick Paulson; sisters, Valentina Levitskaya, Lilya Myers, Nila (Oleg) Zinoviev. As well as his seven nephews and nieces, their 15 children and six grandchildren. He was preceded on his way to his eternal home by his brother, Nikolai, parents, Demian and Maria Ryabenko; brother, Victor Ryabenko; and sister, Ludmila Botamanenko.

Leonid graduated from the Odesa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture in 1976, which paved the way for his lifelong passion for designing and creating beautiful things. His hobbies included jewelry making, fishing, mushroom foraging, reading and enjoying good food and laughter, activities that he cherished and shared with his loved ones and friends.

His life was marked by his dedication to his family, church, and community, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of Leonid’s life will be held at Tower Community Fellowship, located at 1800 South Tower Rd. in Aurora, Colorado on October 18, 2025, at 2:00 pm.
