Lee Bullock
October 1, 1947 ~ March 13, 2013
Lee (Leona Pearl) Bullock was born on October 1, 1947 in Colorado Springs, CO. Her parents were Leslie and Pearl West. Lee was the eighth of eleven children. Her siblings were Alvin, Lyle, Edwin, Larry, Della, Loretta, Marvin, Leon, Kenny and Darrell.
Lee grew up on a farm in Rush, Colorado. She lived the life of a farmer’s daughter and was taught the meaning of hard work and religion. The family was brought up with a strong sense of faith in God and followed the word of God closely. Lee moved to the Denver area in the summer of 1969 and worked at various jobs. Lee soon met a handsome man, Dick Bullock and fell in love. They were married on November 7, 1969. They settled into married life and moved to a house in Englewood, CO and started working at Honeywell photographic division.
Lee and Richard soon were joined by their daughters Stacie and Becky and then in 1973 moved to their current residence in Littleton, CO. In 1976 they welcomed a wonderful surprise when Angie was born and the family was complete.
Lee soon started her 40 year career in the daycare business. Over the years she watched and loved hundreds of little ones that she treated as one of her own and touched so many lives. In addition to doing daycare she became an independent consultant for Home Interior Inc. She loved being able to share her love of decorating with others and excelled for many years.
Lee had 6 grandchildren, Jacob, Taylor, Bailey, Devin, Delaney and Nicolas.
Lee was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, nana and friend to many people. After her long hard fought battle with cancer the Lord decided to call her home and let her rest. Her star still shines bright with all of the love and compassion, beautiful smile and laughter that she so easily shared.
Although she is gone from all of us now physically she will forever be in our hearts.
