  1. Dear Family – I am so very sorry for your loss. I met your dad at Littleton Cemetery, where we have both been frequent visitors (your mom's grave is just up the way from my dad's) and we have chatted on a few occasions. He was so friendly and seemed like quite the character.

I have been touched by how faithful he has been to your mom's memory and have loved watching the new flowers and statues and other assorted mementos that appear each season.

I was there today taking flowers to my dad and was sad to see that a space had been prepared for Larry next to his beloved wife.

Please know that I am thinking of you all in this time of sadness.

With deepest condolences, Leigh Ann Hoffhines

  2. My deepest condolences. 7It is so sad to read that Larry's gone. He was a great friend and neighbor.  I will miss him.

  3. Thank you do much for such lovely words and sentiment. I'm his daughter Jackie, and he spoke often of the friends he'd made at the cemetery. I've already met one lady and her sons, and she had very. Ice things to say about the cemetery visits they would share. I believe he died from a broken heart, he missed my momma so much. He died 4 years, 5 months, and 20 days after. Iris peaceful for me to go there and have them there, together now. I'm sorry for your loss, but I'm glad you had a friend on your visits. I do so hope to meet you there some day. Thank you.

  4. Thank you so much for your sentiment. My Dad loved his old neighborhood. And everyone in it!

  5. I am deeply sorry for the loss of Larry. I worked for him at both Moore Lumber and Douglas Lumber in the 1980s. He was a funny, fun loving boss. He was a catalyst for me to get out of some bad habits I was in at the time. Without him, i would not be the man i am today.. God Speed Larry (and Deanna)

  6. I am thankful for your post. Especially as I also worked at both of those locations too. I know he is proud of you and honored to have helped you become the man you are. I can not think of a greater compliment, thank you so much.

    Jackie Holmberg LaCome
