We would like to thank the Hospice of Saint John in Lakewood for caring for her in her final days.
She had selected the following poem to be read when the family scatters her ashes:
Remember me always but do not weep
For I am around you and not asleep
I am the Chinook winds that flow
I am the diamond sparkling snow
I am the golden fields of grain
And the gentle drops of autumn rain
The love for my family will always be heard
In the twitter and tweet that comes from each bird
When you wake up in the morning hush
I am the swift up-lifting rush of the birds in their quiet circling flight
And I'm the moon and the stars that shine at night
I'm the gold of the aspen trees each year
And the bugling Elk if you listen you'll hear
There's the snap - crack of lightening
Bringing on thunders roar
As the clouds come together like the slam of a door
Mother Nature provided so that day or at night
You may feel me or hear me though I am not is sight
I'm all around you -- I did not die
So remember me always and do not cry
My soul lives forever on Earth, Air or Sky
My love's all around you
I did not die.
