Juana Etelina Grillo of Denver, CO, was born on March 30, 1925, in Ancash, Peru. She left this life on July 4, 2020 at Swedish Medical Center Hospital, Englewood, CO.

She was the daughter of Manuel and Emilia (Cano) Castillo. On March 22, 1949, in Lima, Peru, Juana married Alfredo H. Grillo and they spent 50 years together, until his passing on March 24, 1999.  She was a missionary, teacher, talented musician, singer, painter, and loved sports, but her greatest love was for the Lord. As an exemplary and loving mother, she instilled her love of music in her children and taught them to honor and glorify God. Juana was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings, and a grandchild Juan Carlos Bordon.  Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, David & Alba Grillo, Brooksville, Fl; two daughters & son-in-law, Graciela & Enrique Bordon, Laurel, MD; and Elena Grillo, Denver, Co; three grandchildren; Josias, Alfredo, and Luis Bordon.  Also, ten great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. Services will be held at 2:30pm, Friday, July 10, 2020, at The Littleton Cemetery,  6155 South Prince Street, Littleton, Co. "We are sad for the passing of our dear mother, but it is you, Christ Jesus, who decided to allow her to depart. Now she is resting in Christ Jesus until the glorious morning of the resurrection day."

Services are under the direction of Stork Bullock Family Mortuary in Denver, Co.
