Johnny Ricardo (Ricky) Maes, 59 of Northglenn, Colorado passed away on December 17th, 2025, in his home.
Johnny was born on September 29th, 1966, to John and Neoma in Rawlins, Wyoming at the age of 19 Johnny joined the Army.
In 1989 Johnny met his spouse Kimberly Kay Maes (Jones) who went on to have 3 children, Jeremy, Kaela, and Rachel Maes. Johnnys hobbies consisted of Riding his Motorcycle, working on his garden, and watching The Detroit Lions.
Johnny is predeceased by sister Linda (Nini) Maes. Johnny is survived by wife Kimberly K. Maes, and children Jeremy G. Maes, Kaela D. Maes (Jason Santistevan), Rachel B. Maes, and grandchildren Violet Skye Santistevan, Jordan A. Santistevan, Father John T. Maes and Mother Neoma M. Maes (Hererra) and siblings Debbie J. Purves (Jimmy Purves), Carla D. Gray (Walter Gray).
Johnny will always be remembered as Hard Working, Kind, Giving, and Stubborn. He will be greatly missed as a Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Grandpa, and Friend. Johnny’s memory will live on in the hearts of all of those who loved him.
A viewing will be held both on January 22nd for close family at Stork and Morley Funeral Home at 7pm, and January 23rd for the public at New Hopes Ministry at 10am followed by Church services at 11am and Honorary Military Services at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 1pm.
