John David "Dave" Zott

Dave would say, 'Thank you, dear God, for a wonderful life - for my wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, pets, opportunities, and a great career teaching the wonderful students from Horace Mann, Garden Place, North H.S. and Lincoln H.S.' We want to say to you, Dave: God gave us the most wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather a person could have! We all love you. Our prayer is that every person could have as wonderful a spouse as you; that every child could have as wonderful a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather; that every student could have a teacher and coach like you; that everyone could experience a loyal friend like you; and that everyone could love God, deep down in his heart, as you have loved God. You have been such a blessing and truly, a light for Christ. See you soon, dear loved one.
